Use this tool to catch phase problems before your mix loses vocals, drums, 808s, synths, or stereo effects when collapsed to mono.

Supports browser-decodable WAV, MP3, M4A, AAC, and OGG files.

A correlation value near +1 means left and right are similar and mono-safe. Around 0 means wide or decorrelated. Negative values mean phase cancellation risk.

Educational Report

What Each Number
Means.

TPH explains correlation, mid/side energy, stereo width, and mono compatibility in plain language.

Correlation

Correlation compares the left and right channels. Positive values are usually safer; negative values can mean phase cancellation.

Mono Compatibility

Mono compatibility tells you how well the audio will survive when played on mono speakers, phones, clubs, or certain playback systems.

Mid / Side

Mid is the center information. Side is the stereo width. Too much side energy can create width but may hurt mono translation.
