HOW TO USE THE RESULTS

These tests help you identify routing mistakes, blown drivers, rattles, phase problems, weak bass, harsh treble, and uneven stereo playback.

A

Uneven Left / Right

If one speaker sounds louder, check interface output levels, cables, speaker gain knobs, placement, and room reflections.

Bass Disappears

If bass collapses during polarity testing, check speaker wiring, polarity, stereo widening, and low-end phase relationships.

Rattles During Sweep

Rattles can come from furniture, speaker stands, windows, loose objects, or damaged drivers.

Missing Frequencies

Large dips may indicate room nulls, crossover issues, damaged drivers, or headphone limitations.

Harsh High End

Lower playback immediately if high-frequency tests feel uncomfortable. Never push test tones loudly.

F

Weak Center Image

A centered mono tone should sound stable between the speakers. If it pulls left or right, check alignment and levels.
